It’s April 2020 and we are in the midst of a global pandemic that has upended our lives. The arrival of Covid-19 in the UK has made social distancing the norm.

We know that we are only to go out when it’s essential but what about keeping ourselves safe from the virus INSIDE our homes? To find out, two families show us how they clean their houses, but before that we send in a forensics team to search for evidence of the areas they’re missing, places where they could be unwittingly spreading the virus across their homes.

With the help of virologist Dr Lisa Cross and Dr Javid Abdelmoneim we reveal where and how we should be cleaning; how to change our behaviour if one of us becomes sick and how to protect ourselves when going outdoors…. and coming inside.
